Get to know what's going on in any GitHub repository!

Ever since I started using GitHub, I felt like its repositories could use a "What's going on" section, so checking what a huge project is up to is easier. So, I just built that!

Today I present What's Going On

What the website does now is not even near to what it could end up doing, but I thought it was better to put a hopefully useful preliminary version out in the open as soon as possible than to keep procrastinating on building anything at all. By the way, I seized the opportunity to try out GitHub's Primer Style, which is quite nice to work with!

The source code is can be found at

This project was bootstrapped with Create React App.

Available Scripts

In the project directory, you can run:

yarn start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

The page will reload if you make edits.
You will also see any lint errors in the console.

yarn test

Launches the test runner in the interactive watch mode.
See the section about running tests for more information.

yarn build

Builds the app for production to the build folder.
It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance.

The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes.
Your app is ready to be deployed!

See the section about deployment for more information.

yarn eject

Note: this is a one-way operation. Once you eject, you can’t go back!

If you aren’t satisfied with the build tool and configuration…

although the repository is not quite ready for visits 😜

Let me know what you think of the website in the comments section!

And thanks for dropping by 😊
