Thinking of quitting my temp job and immerse myself in learning to web dev

Hey everyone. I am tired of the jobs I've been doing. Now I am willing to quit with $700 in savings and learn to code on TeamTreeHouse. Is this crazy enough? I am thinking of doing 8+ hours a day. Will TeamTreeHouse be enough to launch a career in web dev in a few months?
