āļø AWS Security Hub has released 7 new security controls, increasing the total number of controls offered to 430.
āļø Security Hub now supports controls for new resource types:
š¶ Amazon S3 Multi-Region Access Points
š¶ Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) Connect.
āļø Also Security Hub new release control for Amazon Guard Duty EKS Runtime Monitoring.
āļø To use the new controls, turn on the standard they belong to and Security Hub will then start evaluating security posture and monitoring your resources for the relevant security controls.
āļø Customer can use central configuration to do so across all organization accounts and linked Regions with a single action.
š Importantly, AWS Security Hub available at no cost for 30 days on the AWS Free Tier.
