AWS Database Migration Service now includes enhanced monitoring dashboard for your DMS tasks

What's new at AWS š¢
ā #AWSDatabaseMigrationService now includes enhanced monitoring dashboard for your DMS tasks.
ā With this launch, customers can now experience greatly improved monitoring capabilities for the database and various analytics workloads running in DMS.
ā It helps us to streamline monitoring processes and quickly identify potential issues by viewing all relevant information in a centralized location
ā These new dashboard improvements make it easier to monitor the health of data workload movements and troubleshoot problems.
ā Observability tasks such as,
ā Aggregated & customized metrics for multiple DMS tasks
ā Visualize utilization for all tasks on replication instance
ā Enables ease of identify the root cause of task issues as well.
ā In addition to that, By default, enhanced monitoring metrics follow the retention policy for CloudWatch metrics
ā 1 minute datapoints are available for 15 days
ā 5 minute datapoints are available for 63 days
ā 1 hour datapoints are available for 455 days
š Note: CloudWatch Log not delete the log events immediately, only after 72 hours of retention period expired.
