Do's of Prompting:
Write Clear and Specific Instructions:
- Precise prompts yield better results.
- Clearly communicate what you expect from the model.
- Use explicit language to frame your request.
Iterative Prompt Development:
- Crafting an effective prompt often requires refinement.
- Experiment with different prompt formulations.
- Refine your prompts based on model responses.
Give the Model Time to Think:
- Large language models may take a moment to generate responses.
- Use appropriate wait times before evaluating model outputs.
- Avoid rushing the model, especially for complex tasks.
Don'ts of Prompting:
Don't Assume Prior Knowledge:
- Models don't possess real-time or specific domain knowledge.
- Avoid expecting the model to have access to current data.
- Provide context and information as needed.
Don't Overload the Model:
- Avoid overly long or complex prompts.
- Extremely verbose instructions may confuse the model.
- Keep prompts concise and to the point.
Best Practices:
Prompt Framing:
- Use a system message to set the behavior and persona of the assistant.
- Whisper high-level instructions to guide the assistant's responses.
- Keep the user unaware of the system message.
Context Management:
- Provide all relevant messages in a conversation for context.
- Context is crucial for models to recall earlier interactions.

- There is a parameter called "temperature", just like prompt.
- Adjust temperature to control response randomness.
- Lower values (e.g., 0.2) provide more deterministic responses.
- Higher values (e.g., 0.8) yield more varied and creative outputs.
Cases Where It Doesn't Work:
Lack of Specific Information:
- Models lack real-time data and may provide outdated information.
- Avoid expecting precise details, especially in rapidly changing fields.
