In this episode of The .NET Docs Show, Maíra Wenzel (@mairacw) joins the hosts in a #LiveShare to migrate the dot.net website to enable
nullable context, and to fix actual bugs. As part of this week's #CheckUp, we shared a tutorial on the subject - migrate existing code with nullable reference types.
The #HallwayTrack with Maíra was awesome! We compared performance of .NET Core 3.1 to .NET 5 with the dot.net website, that sees over 13 million page views per month. Maíra demonstrated improvements for monitoring and auditing accessibility, as well as what tech stack is used:
- Migrated from ASP.NET Core MVC to ASP.NET Core Razor Pages
- Adding in ASP.NET Core Blazor
- Sprinkled with React
- Azure App Services
- Azure App Insights
