Introduction
We are excited to announce the release of ServBay version 1.2.1, the first update since the new year. This version introduces a redesigned dashboard, which provides developers with an intuitive view of system resource consumption. The goal is to enable developers to assess the efficiency of their code more effectively and manage services with greater agility.
What’s New
Redesigned Dashboard
Enhanced Visibility: The new dashboard is structured to give a clear and concise overview of the system’s performance at a glance.
Resource Monitoring: It now includes detailed graphs and statistics for CPU Load, CPU Usage History, Memory Pressure, Application Memory, Wired and Compressed Memory, Storage, and Network activities.
Service Control: A streamlined interface for controlling services, including quick start and stop options for each service, has been implemented.
System Resource Insights
CPU Load Indicator: A real-time CPU load gauge helps identify the current state of processor usage.
Memory Usage: A breakdown of memory allocation, including Pressure, App, Wired, and Compressed memory, is now displayed.
Storage Overview: Visual representation of storage use, indicating used and available space.
Network Speeds: Current upload and download speeds are now visible directly on the dashboard.
Service Management
Services Overview: An updated list of services with version numbers, status, and process IDs.
Quick Actions: New controls have been added for each service to quickly restart or stop as needed.
Version Support
PHP Versions: The dashboard shows the status of various PHP versions, from 5.6 to 8.3, highlighting any stopped services for attention.
Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements
We've squashed several bugs, enhancing stability and performance.
Various minor features have been updated to improve user experience.
Upgrade Guidance
All users are recommended to update to the latest version to take advantage of the new features and improvements. Just download the new version and drag it to the Application folder to replace the old App, you're all set.
