To you 1 Month from now, Kubernetes

I would say that this is more of a reminder of the struggle, the perseverance, and the triumph. This is to all who struggle to push forward when it matters the most. This is for me as much as it is for you.
Prolouge
It all began around the beginning of this year When I decided to learn Kubernetes. I have this vision that a developer should strive to understand it all but master one.
From binary ticks to architectural blueprints - Yours truly
For me, Kubernetes was that missing stepping stone to understanding the architecture of the infrastructure.
The Why
To be frank, Kubernetes is definitely not the only one out there, for we have AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and many more but it was the choice that stuck to that open-source spirit the most. No vendor lock and your whole infrastructure can be moved with (relative) ease.
The How
There are so many methods and ways to approach this however I'd like to focus on the learning and not the planning for the learning, so I bought a Udemy course from Mumshad Mannambeth (Not sponsored!).
I pretty much did not regret a moment of learning from his course because it was well structured, had practice labs after every concept, and it comes included with mock exams at the very end.
Thus making it a very good well-structured curriculum to have the confidence for the test.
Climbing the mountain
Now this is a quick break to talk about how can you complete large projects or milestones. For me it as simple as these little couple of advice.
- S.M.A.R.T
- Specific
- Measurable
- Achievable
- Relevant
- Time-Bound
Along with keeping it small so that you don't have that much resistance to just begin.
And lastly, just begin.
If you put your mind into making the next step and not the peak of the mountain you will have nothing but the next step.
The When
Sometimes you may do all of these things and still have Some resistance left to just get to the finish line. For me, it's the same now, since I'm a couple of lessons away from finishing everything needed for the CKAD certification.
And for that, I'd say try to apply external forces if you can. Mine is going to be scheduling the test ahead of time to put time pressure.
Hopefully, in less than a month, we shall see the results.
