Introduction
Open-source Post-quantum Blockchain project, means its open to anyone who want to join, commited, and contributed based on his/ her skills and passion.
In the advent of quantum computers which have the potential to render traditional cryptographic algorithms will be vulnerable to our existing blockchain ecosystem, it will impact to the everything that we already build in the decentralized world because its depend on the top of the layer 0 or 1 that vulnerably attack by quantum-computers.
SPHINX is aware about this climate and we are initiated looking forward to collaborative efforts from world community in shaping the future of the Post-Quantum Blockchain layer 1 that we will help the community to safe from quantum threats.
Background
In a world where technology is constantly advancing, it is crucial for us to recognize the pressing need to transition into the post-quantum era. The advent of quantum computers, with their unparalleled computational power and the ability to solve complex problems at an unprecedented scale, has the potential to revolutionize industries and disrupt existing cryptographic systems.
Traditional cryptographic algorithms, which have served us well in securing sensitive information and facilitating secure transactions, face a formidable challenge in the face of quantum computers. These advanced machines possess the capability to break conventional cryptographic methods, rendering them vulnerable to attacks that were previously inconceivable. The very foundations upon which our digital infrastructure rests are at risk, necessitating a proactive and strategic shift towards post-quantum cryptography.

It is a call to action, urging us to develop and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms that can withstand the computational might of these emerging technologies. Such algorithms, based on novel mathematical principles and cryptographic primitives, are designed to offer robust security even in the face of quantum adversaries.
The problem
1994: A Brief Introduction to Shor's Algorithm For Quantum Computers.
In 2001, IBM demonstrated Shor's algorithm for the first time, successfully factoring the number 15 into its prime factors using a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) implementation of a 7-qubit quantum computer. Since then, the algorithm has been implemented on various quantum platforms, but challenges such as noise, decoherence, and scalability must be addressed before it can factor numbers relevant for cryptography. The practical implementation of Shor's algorithm is still challenging due to the requirements of error correction and the need for a large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computer.
Today quantum-computers have been significant growth and become nightmare for our security in general (not only blockchain technology) this because their ability that can solved a problem by speed up in Polynomial-runtime.
Quantum-computers is new hope for human life but in another hand it will become serious disruption for anything that we already has today.
According to IBM in the figure 1 is representation of Shor's algorithm with speed up in polynomial-run time a quantum-computers can solve a problem in mere minutes, while for classical-computers with exponential-run time it will take age of the universe in the same tasks.
In the newest quantum-computing landscape Google hash announce that they are successfully to solve a "Task" in 6 minutes, while for #1 classical computers it will takes 47 years for solve the same "Task". The good question here is, what exactly the "Task" meaning?!
Quantum-computers only operated for spesific tasks, it something like to Factoring Discret Logarithm or Large integers, that we known that this two properties that guarantee for our security today in general. Our nightmare today is to realize that our existing blockchain technology in general rely on ECDLP and Large integers.
