I'm going to be writing documentation for an API. It spans across multiple subdomains and is a split between REST and GraphQL based.

Do any of you have recommendations for a tool I could use to format, organize, and write this? Or is it best to just use markdown, and if so is there a good collection of guidelines door formatting?
