I was recently intro'd to a friend of a friend, and they expressed:
I've been having a tough time breaking into the industry and getting my first job as a software engineer.

It's a little unclear what they wanted to chat about, so my first piece of advice here is to be clear and specific about your 'ask' or what you need help with when you reach out to someone.
