There are a lot of different perf checks for CPUs, but, unfortunately, most of the them are more synthetic and do not reflect the tasks we do daily like devs. it is not surprise that devs' work is compilation

Here is benchmark I created which bootstrap Nim's language compiler

There are a lot of CPU's tested already, but you can add more if you want: https://github.com/inv2004/bench_nim_build

All you need is git+gcc or clang.

And do not forget to pug power cord if laptop!
