What I Built

This project provides an AI-driven air quality alert system using Twilio and OpenAI. Users can send their location via WhatsApp and receive alerts based on the current air quality index (AQI) along with AI-based safety advice. This system helps individuals stay informed about air quality and take necessary precautions.

Steps to try

1. Join the WhatsApp sandbox (details in the screenshot).
2. Send your location via WhatsApp.
3. Receive AI-generated analysis and safety measures.

Twilio and AI

We used Twilio's WhatsApp API to receive user location data and send back real-time air quality alerts. OpenAI analyzes the air quality index from OpenWeatherMap and generates personalized safety advice. This advice is then sent to the user via Twilio, providing immediate and actionable information.
