Had a chance to talk out loud with Fred Schott (Snowpack) about our experiences in being in physical and digital communities before and after covid! How each community has it's own norms, rules, and feeling to it that GitHub doesn't necessarily bring out. Curious on your thoughts!
We talk about maintainership and learning to say no, on localism in a digital setting, parallels to livestream church, experiencing serendipity in Zoom or elsewhere, and how games can play a big role in making open source less transactional.
