It was about 1300 BC when similar game boards were discovered on roofing tiles, and these boards were utilized to create these games, which were based on ancient Egyptian archaeological data.
Aristotle, writing in the first century BC, said that the game of tic-tac-toe had its beginnings in the ancient city of Rome. Because each player only received three pieces, they had to shuffle them about in order to fill up the gaps left by the previous players.
