I'm redesigning my personal site from scratch and it's a little more challenging than I expected. The main challenge I'm facing is that I have too many creative ideas I want to implement and some conflict.

My process:

1. Write out a plan (the layout options, potential content, images, typography, etc.)
2. Draw out the wireframe
3. Create mocks
4. Choose the most suitable color scheme/typography
5. Start designing the site.

How do you guys start out designing your site(s)? The steps, thought process, planning, etc.
