Intro to Divi Review
When you start your own business, you have to consider one of the most important things is your presence on the internet. No matter if you are selling a digital resource or opening a restaurant, you need to have your website where you can share your information about your business, location, and make yourself visible for everyone online.
But starting a business is very often expensive, and most of the starting entrepreneurs try to save every penny. That’s why it may be a great idea to build a website on your own, without hiring a team of programmers from an agency.
Or maybe you would like to start freelancing and build simple websites for your clients, but you know just the basics of coding?
Whatever is the reason you want to build websites, there are a few solutions available on the internet, giving you the possibility to easily build a web page in a few hours. There are many basic page builders or many ready templates for WordPress, which can be installed and used as they are.
But there’s also a more advanced template used with WordPress, which is called Divi DIVI, and in this article, I’m going to review this tool and check if it’s really worth to buy it to be able to create a stunning website.
Here I have a video for you where you can watch the review!

Let’s start!
1. Is Divi easy to use?
As for every WordPress theme, you need to install WordPress first to use the theme. And I’d said that’s the most challenging part of building a website with this tool.
If you don’t have any previous experience with WordPress installation, feel free to take our course, where we show you step by step how to do it.
When that’s ready, and your theme is uploaded and turned on, using Divi is pretty easy. It has a drag and drop feature, which you can use to arrange all the elements on your website simply. You can choose from many ready elements, like sliders, images, and much more. And every element can be customized just as you wish, by adding borders, shadows, animations, and lots of other decorations.
Besides a straightforward user interface, Divi creators provide really good documentation, so if you got confused with anything, it’s pretty simple to find a solution in seconds. There’s also support available for premium users 24 hours a day, so you can always drop them a question.
Generally, Divi is a really simple and easy-to-use tool that allows creating customized websites, landing pages, or online stores. Of course, it may be confusing for someone who starts with Divi, but you’ll manage to create awesome websites with the support and great documentation. If you’d like to get familiar with Divi even faster, feel free to take a look at our course How to build an advanced website with Divi.
Now, let me tell you what features you can add to your websites using Divi.
2. What can I build with Divi?
Divi is known as a powerful WordPress theme because it provides us many elements and options that we may use to create customized web pages.
With Divi builder, you can create almost every type of website, starting for a simple informational website, through lead generating landing pages connected to third-party tools for emails, customized blogs, or online shops. It’s even possible to customize post and product templates.
Divi provides elements like sliders, forms, image galleries, pricing tables, or call to action elements, which you can customize, which means that you are able to put almost every design to a Divi website.
Creating a page with Divi page builder is an easy and simple process. Builder is done from the main blocks, like sections, columns, and rows. Then inside each main element, you can place any modules you’d like.
Personally, I think that for a simple business website, product landing page, or blog, you don’t need anything more than Divi to create it. When you would buy the Divi theme license, you can renew your website whenever you want.
Even if you don’t have a designer or designing skills, Divi provides some really awesome ready templates that you can use for premium users. Templates are divided for different categories, so the selection would be even easier. Every design is very modern, but even if you’d like to change it slightly, it’s possible as well.
The page builder from Divi mixed with a WordPress simplicity will help you easily take ownership of the contents on the page and the graphic layout, which you can change according to your preference.
All this sounds really great, but what about the SEO, which is pretty important when you want to be visible in the search engines?
Let’s check that as well.
3. Is Divi good for SEO?
Divi was created by experienced developers who know what’s important in WordPress websites, so they took the performance and SEO into consideration. As a WordPress theme, Divi can be used with additional plugins that support SEO and page speed.
The recommenced plugins are W3 Total Cache and Yoast SEO. But it’s also worth remembering good practices that you need to keep as a creator to provide the best loading speed and SEO for your website.
You should optimize the graphics you are adding to the website and take care of the size of the pictures you upload. Besides that, you should add alt tags to the images and use the Yoast SEO plugin to make sure each page has meta descriptions and meta tags. Adding SEO-friendly links is another way that can provide you a better SEO.
Divi doesn’t have a big influence on whether the SEO on your page is good or bad, and that’s something you need to take care of separately.
4. Is Divi expensive?
Divi has two pricing options available, one is yearly access, and the other one is a lifetime, so depending on the needs you have, you can select suitable access. In both cases, you can create an unlimited amount of websites using Divi theme.
The yearly access is $89 a year, and the other one is $249 once for a lifetime.
With both, you get access to the Divi theme and three more handy plugins:
Monarch - a social media sharing plugin, which has a great design and can be very useful in any website you would build;
Extra - a magazine theme with Divi page builder;
Bloom - email opt-in and lead generation plugin allows us to show beautiful popups, widgets, or banners with forms.
Besides that, you get access to beautiful, ready templates that you can use for your websites. You get premium support available for 24 hours 7 days per week, which is very helpful and can help you with any questions.
Also, when there’s an update, you’ll be able to download always the newest version of the Divi theme, and you don’t have to pay anything for that.
And all this comes with a 30 days guarantee, so, even if there’s any way you won’t like it, which is not very likely, you can get money back.
With all the great things you get when buying Divi theme access, I think the price is not too high, and it’s a great time to make a short summary and decide if that’s worth it.
Conclusion - is it worth it?
Divi page builder provides an excellent solution for building professional looking websites even if you don't know how to code. It's a great and cheap solution for bloggers and content creators to stand out or for marketers to create awesome lead generation landing pages that would get you more clients.
If you need a web page for your business, that's also a solution that could work for you. For skilled coders, it can be the right choice as well to save a lot of time and create a portfolio or simple websites for your clients in hours.
Divi can save lots of time and energy on coding and technical issues, so you can spend time focusing on creating great content and visuals.
Personally, I created a lot of websites using Divi, and the result was always stunning. And the process of creating I would consider as a lot of fun because things just work with Divi.
I hope, that this review, will be helpful to take a look at the most powerful WordPress theme and make a right choice.
