Understanding JavaScript Modules

1.Encapsulate Functionality: Modules help encapsulate code, making it easier to understand and maintain.
2.Avoid Global Namespace Pollution: Modules prevent global scope pollution by keeping variables and functions scoped to the module.
3.Enable Reusability: Code written in modules can be reused across different parts of your application or even in other projects.
Types of Modules
There are two primary module systems in JavaScript: ES6 modules and CommonJS.
ES6 Modules
Introduced in ECMAScript 2015 (ES6), ES6 modules are now the standard for writing modular JavaScript. They use import
and export
statements to share code between modules.
Example

}

CommonJS
CommonJS is primarily used in Node.js environments. It uses require
and module.exports
to import and export modules.
