HOW TO CREATE A LINUX VIRTUAL MACHINE IN AZURE PORTAL

*What is a Linux Virtual Machine*
A Linux Virtual Machine (VM) is a software emulation of a physical computer that runs the Linux operating system.
This process allows you to deploy a Linux VM running Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS.

Steps in creating a Linux virtual Machine
1 Login to your Azure Portal and create a resource.

2Search for virtual machine and login

3 Create a resource group

4 Give Virtual Machine a name

5 Go to Image to click on Ubuntu Server

6 Set password and username
Image description

7 Select In bond port
select ssh and http

8 Go to Monitoring and Disable

9 Click on Review and Create
Image description

10 click on create
Image description

11 Click on go to Resource
Image description

12 Click on the IP Address to change the idle timeout and save

13 Click on Connect
Image description

14 Select Native SSH
Image description

15 Search for Powershell on your system

16 Open Powershell and type ssh space username,password and ipaddress and press enter

17 Press yes
Image description

18 Continue to use commands
And install NGINX to confirm if you have truly create a linux virtual machine

19 Put the Ip address on a new web to confirm if you install a machine
