šŸ½ | Seasons Of Serverless

We are now entering WEEK 5 of #SeasonsOfServerless developer challenge series!! It's never too late to join in and learn about festive traditions around the world - and explore a bit of code in the process!

Want to learn more about what #SeasonsOfServerless is and how you can participate? Start by reading this post:

šŸ‡§šŸ‡· | The 'Big Barbecue' Challenge (Week 4)!

Our chefs last week were Microsoft Student Ambassadors Rogerio Rodrigues and Sydney Cirqueira from Brazil! And they joined Cloud Advocates Lucas Santos and Chloe Condon to talk about that most Brazilian of festive traditions - the barbecue!!

From the project brief

In Brazil, everyone loves a big barbecue! Brazilian barbecue is justifiably famous. Everyone's friends and family gets together for a feast, complete with grilled meats called churrasco, typically beef with different marinades..

Big events like this can get expensive, and you need to stay in within your budget. We have gained access to a spreadsheet used to organize large family barbecues. Using the percentages in the spreadsheet, create a serverless method of determining how many people you can invite based on a given budget

šŸ‘ØšŸ¼ā€šŸ³ | Our Community Chefs Weigh in!

This week, we're doing something interesting - we wanted to feature a couple of "community chefs" - folks who took up the challenge and showcased amazing solutions to the problem. I hope this inspires you!

Want to check out the code behind those teasers? Here you go - dive in and explore the solutions, and don't forget to tag them and share any insights or extensions you might build to those ideas!

Don't forget that you can check out all community solutions to all challenges right here on our website.

If you port an existing solution to a different coding language, just leave us a comment and share your code! We'd love to see it! šŸŽ‰

šŸ† | Thanks for the submissions!

They setup a great challenge and we are so excited to see all the submissions that came in from the developer community!!

Want to learn how others solved the challenge, potentially with a different programming language?

Check out our Contributors Hall Of Fame for Week 4!
