The secrets to getting consistent clients as a freelance developer ๐Ÿ’ธ

๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ Hello coding people, As you might know, I always write articles about coding, Programming, Freelancing, and Web. In this article, I am going to disclose the secrets of getting consistent clients as a freelancer which I use in my daily life. I have divided them into some simple points.

Actual post

Market competition ๐Ÿ›’๐Ÿคธโ€โ™‚๏ธ

The competition today is very high. This means that you need to focus a lot on being discovered, especially when you are just starting out. Apart from being discovered, you need to show consistency in putting out your work and show the world that you are perfect for them to hire. put your work on social media consistently.

Content creation ๐Ÿช๐Ÿ—

The more the content that you put out, the more are the chances of a potential client discovering your work. Not only should you be consistent, but your work should be top-notch. Donโ€™t put out content unless you are very happy with it. A mix of your best and worst works can create confusion for the client.

NO Free work ๐Ÿค•

Donโ€™t work for free. Yes if work is for love and affection thatโ€™s okay but I recommend donโ€™t work for free to others. In free work, you will find cheap clients who will waste your time.

local businesses ๐Ÿจ๐Ÿญ

Reach out to local businesses. look in your relative they also seeking for online opportunities work for then and ask for recommending your service to their network. word of mouth is the best way to get clients. A happy client will always spread the word.

personal projects ๐Ÿ‘ทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿญ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”ง

Working on personal projects is another fun and interesting way to brew new content to put out. It could be for exploring, learning a new skill or for just for fun. Sometimes you can even make money from it.

Personal projects help you exploit your skills to the maximum limit as there are no limits or restrictions.

Small work and collaborate ๐Ÿค๐Ÿคž

Redesigning the app, website or logo of an existing company can open up a lot of job opportunities. You can also collaborate with other designers to get constant feedback and more exposure. Pick startups and newly funded companies. These companies are always looking for young and fresh talent.

Personal Brand ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป

If you donโ€™t have a personal brand, then all your hard work goes waste. Create your sense of style and use that in the way you present your work. Make sure that you are consistent with the style. By maintaining the consistent style of your brand, it becomes easy for others to recognize you.

Social presentation ๐Ÿคณ๐ŸŽ ๐ŸŽญ

Put out your work on as many platforms as you can find. Instagram, Dribble, Behance, Dev community and Twitter are the most popular ones. Make sure that you document the entire process from start to finish. The process always outweighs looks. Break up your work into small pieces and post them on all the platforms every day.

Engage in conversations

Reach out potential clients and tell them how you can help them improve their business by solving problems through your programming skills. Engage in conversations with other Developers on social media and help the dev community. Send at least 10 emails to potential clients every day and hope for a positive response.

That's it in this post, my other real-life Freelancer experience I will share in other posts.๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒท
