Here, all data types except Object
are primitive data types, whereas Object
is non-primitive.
Note: The
Object
data type (non-primitive type) can store collections of data, whereas primitive data type can only store a single data.
To declare a variable in JavaScript, you use the var

keyword, followed by the variable name. For example:
let name = "John";
const pi = 3.14;
var age;
In the example above, name
is a variable that stores a string value "John", pi
is a variable that stores a numeric value of 3.14, and age
is a variable that has been declared but not assigned a value, so it will have an undefined value.
You can also use the typeof
operator to check the data type of a variable.
