Accessibility is a standard developed by the W3C. It allows us to optimize our interfaces to ensure access to people who may experience some kind of impediment to access the content.
Alt text also known as "alt attributes" describe the appearance and function of an image on a page.
Today I share with you this that someone once told me. What shouldn't go in an alternative text in images
<img alt=" " >
ā Don't start alt texts with "Image of...", "Photo of..." or similar. This is added by default.
ā The photographer's name.
ā Don't put keywords.
ā Irrelevant words to position yourself in google. This isn't how alt text works.
What other advice would you give? š
