Ok it's a cold morning here in SPGG (because someone let te A/C at 68 ๐) and before kids wake up and start their morning homeschool morning routine I'll do my best to write this post in the best understandable english I can give (from my previous post: I'm still learning).
Through the years I've seen a lot of ideas converted in products with great market and great success and lot of products that don't have idea what a market is (ergo: no income, no more than 100 downloads), and as a marketer that can develop software I can say it without hesitation: if you want to be financially successful with the product you are building just be sure that there is a market, or at least a niche.
I'm not going to dive into the marketing best practices this time (or any?), there are already a lot of people selling suspicious courses out there (ok ok... some of those courses are good or at least leads you in some direction) but what I really want really to say in a few words is: TAKE ACTION!...
- do your homework (find an existing niche willing to pay for your product)
- work work work until your product release the premise (until its really functional this is the marathonic part)
- and deliver... and if you can make your client say "wow" with some functionality well my friend... thats paradise for us developers, believe me: been there done that, and it's totally worth it.
I'm skipping a lot of steps here so this post (my second one as developer/startuper and my second one written in english) so I don't loose the point, I know that is a short post that looks more like a long tweet thread ๐, but I'm serious guys, I did the mistake for years of building/making products or parts of products that maybe are too complex or too advanced or not ready for the time (market, context) that wasn't salable (not sure if thats the word, I mean "products than can be buyed") and I although I DON'T regret this because it was a lot of practice for me but, it could build a lot of funnels of income over the years. If you are ready do build great products and really really want to succeed financially with your product: do your marketing homework, that (there?) is where "TAKE ACTION!" begins.
Coding/Developer part of the post:
I would love to share videos (still don't know if for coding, startup experiences or devops evangelization) but, because I'm not really fluent in english I want to build a teleprompter, I know, there are a lot of teleprompter apps out here I just want something that not only follow my voice, but also split the text (left) and expressions, images or emoticons, so even if I don't read fast enough, I know what kind of expression will follow the reading. Anyone know if already exist not only the speech following but the split screen (text and expression of feelings via images)? If yes please comment, if not and want to collaborate.
I'm posting the repo where we will take action ๐ (and yes, I did my homework about this), the first version will be Swift + SwiftUI but with time we can port this to any platform.
Want to contribute? This is the repo for "TakeActionTeleprompter"
