If there is something we can all agree on, is that to sustain a company or an institution we need and of the best way to keep money is to create more revenue, protect those revenues, control all the costs and and also reducing them.
We are going to discuss the way we can do the better management of our money through CI/CD(Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment), and explaining this process in brief we can say Its as:”The client having the right things in the right time”.
The CI/CD(Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) application is the practical side of a interesting concept called CD(Continuous Delivery), and the succinct and quick description of this concept :”Serve the public/customer as fast as possible, from development to production through testing”
We are going to see the see it in the four categories and give great explanations on each.
Create more revenues.
On creating revenues we can have a scenario where by before releasing the part of the product to the public, we have to hire someone who will got through the work done which is intended to be mixed with the product the public is interacting with the public.
The work of that person will take time before it get concluded successful, while we really need that mix up as fast as possible so we can start generate and create income from those new things from our platform.
Protect revenues.
When we talk about protecting revenues, we more talking about the company funds being managed well and not being spent any how, especially on technical things we can avoid once for all.
Still considering the example on the way we want to give the public another product, it might be good to employ more people to work on those works so they can be put on for the public but after a review, and for a quick review we will need more people, but with the CI/CD(Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment), we will not need such number of people because it will be automated as long a part is done worked on, and if there is an error the process will tell you what is it about.
Control the costs.
In this concept even referring to the title, we can say that its the way of knowing what we are paying for, and that is tremendously great because even an administrative person can be able to track each and everything the company is paying for. That help us avoid extravaganza expenses especially with a principal we mostly use in the CI/CD(Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) world is you pay for what you use, if the system judges that you need some extra things, it will add them but not for the sake of making more money instead for the sake of a great public experience and cost control.
Reducing the cost.
We might have been flying over it or talking about in general, but reducing the cost is also one of the most important things and benefits we get from moving to CI/CD(Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment), as most of things will be automated, that reduces the costs of payment in the employment field, and if we have a look on the side of paying what we only used, its great because we will never need some on premises devices, because of the best ways to integrate the CI/CD(Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) is to do it on cloud(remotely), and those are just a few in many things that reduces the costs.
To sum up all the CI/CD(Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) implementation is more important not only for the administrative part of the company but also for the technical part of the company, we went through the administrative benefits, and in brief on the technical side, it is easy to manage once settled, with forgetting that its a very important and more valuable skills to the tech team.
